For Sellers (Second-Hand Products)
How do I sell an item?
Selling on Floccs is quick and easy:
- Create a Free Ad
- Posting an ad is completely free!
- Upload a clear photo of your product. Our smart ad creation feature will automatically generate a detailed title, description, and features based on your photo, making it easy to create a professional listing. You can edit the ad if needed.
- Create separate ads for each product to help our algorithms recommend your items to the right buyers.
- We Find a Buyer for You
- Once your ad is live, our algorithms promote it to the right audience, such as buyers with horses or interests similar to yours.
- Your contact details remain private. When someone buys your product, they pay directly through the platform, and we arrange shipping for you.
- Pack & Ship the Item
- After your item is sold, the buyer pays for shipping.
- You’ll receive shipping instructions via email and in the app. A shipping label will be generated for you, which you can easily scan at your nearest post office when dropping off the package.
- Get Paid
- Once the buyer receives the package and confirms that everything is as expected, we release your payment. This typically happens within 1–3 business days of delivery.
What tips should I follow for selling?
- One Product = One Ad: Create separate ads for each product. This improves visibility and helps match your item to the right buyer.
- Use Clear Photos: Take pictures of your product without other items in the background. The first photo should be sharp and clear to attract buyers. Add more detailed or styled pictures to give a complete view of your item.

Do I need to communicate with buyers?
No, we handle all buyer interactions for you. Your contact details remain private, and buyers communicate through the platform if needed.
Are there any fees for selling?
Posting an ad is free, but we charge a small commission on each completed sale to support platform operations and improvements. You will see the fee breakdown when setting up your ad.
When do I get paid?
You will get paid after the buyer confirms they have received the item in good condition. Payments are processed within 1–3 business days of buyer confirmation.
For Buyers
How do I buy an item?
- Browse the listings by category, brand, or keyword.
- Use filters to narrow down results (e.g., size, condition, price).
- Once you find an item, click 'Buy Now' to complete the purchase.
How does shipping work?
The seller ships the item using our climate-friendly shipping solution. You will receive a tracking number to monitor your package. Ensure your delivery address is correct when placing your order.
What if the item is not as described?
If the item significantly differs from its description (e.g., size, condition, or missing parts):

- We will work with you and the seller to resolve the issue. If needed, we will issue a refund through our buyer protection policy.

What types of horse ads can I create?
You can create two types of ads:
- For Sale Ads: List your horse for sale and tag its profile in the ad for more details.
- Service Ads: Offer services related to your horse, such as finding a co-rider, leasing opportunities, or other team-building activities.
How do I create a horse ad?
- Tag the relevant horse profile in your ad to provide potential buyers or partners with more details about the horse.
- Once posted, the ad will appear in both the general feed and the horse's profile, ensuring visibility.
- Include your preferred contact details (email or phone) in the ad for interested parties to reach you directly.
Who sees my horse ad?
Our algorithms match your ad to the right audience based on its content. For example:
- Ads for western horses are prioritized for users interested in western riding.
- Service ads (e.g., co-riding) are shown to local users looking for similar opportunities.
What happens when I sell my horse or find a new team member?
You can invite the new owner or team members to the horse’s profile, allowing them to:
- Update and maintain the horse’s profile.
- Take over admin responsibilities for the profile if necessary.
